Chicken in Garlic Sauce


250 gms Chicken (Boneless )

1 capsicum ( cut into 1" squares)

1 Carrot ( thin slices)

12 pods Garlic (Chopped finely)

1 cup Tomato Ketchup

1 cup Stock (Chicken)[if you are using stock cubes,1cup=5 maggi cubes]

1 tsp chilli powder

1 onion ( chopped into 1'' squares)

1 tbsp Corn starch (Corn flour  dissolved in cold water)

1 tbsp Corn flour

A little Spring Onion( chopped)


Mix Cornflour and chicken.
Shallow fry and keep aside.
Pour oil in a pressure pan, add chopped onions,and garlic.
Add  the carrots, tomato sauce,stock, salt, chilli powder , fried chicken and water.
Allow to boil.
Cook till the chicken is 3/4 th done.
Add the capsicum and cook till done.Now add the cornstarch.
Bring to boil and remove from fire. Sprinkle spring onion .
Serve with Cantonese Fried Rice.
