WIP wednesday

The Harvest Festival went on really well. DSCN2614DSCN2615We had special guests from  another congregationDSCN2617The kids were all made to sit near the Alter to make room for the visitors to have comfortable seatsDSCN2634Then there was the auction followed by food stalls DSCN2643
I decided to give away my handmade things as a gift along with the cutlet packets I sold. One gift with each pack. The people who got from me were pleasantly surprised , and even got a couple more packets so they would  get more of the gifts Smile That must be a good  sign ,although I am not sure how it would have gone down if I’d sold them separately.I think I will stick to this as I was just thrilled by the surprised smiles  I got ,while giving them away .  I got a few requests for baby hairclips, and stuff for little girls.
I’ve decided to  first finish all the WIPs I have hiding here and there.Took out all of them to size up the situation. So that  I can finish them one by one .There are more. These are the ones on the needles and hooks.DSCN2648
I’ve been so guilt-ridden every time I look at them lying  unfinished like that and  have decided not to do anything before I finish all my WIPs.They are all big projects and I ‘ve decided to  work at least a few rows on each of them everyday. Big projects get boring after a while soooo……….. Please feel free to yell at me and keep me on the straight and narrow, if I give in to temptation and start something new before I finish these.ok? Open-mouthed smile

  2. I'd be the most ineligible person to yell at you to finish your WIPs. I don't even acknowledge my WIPs as you do. you are very brave! ;-)

  9. Hi Pearlin, if I didn't work, I would go to the morning meetings. Once I get home, I don't really like going out again, especially to deal with traffic at night. It's bad enough going to school in the morning. You have even further to travel so it is good you can go in the mornings to Sadu House. Glad to hear the Festival went well. I much prefer to just give things away than try to sell. Hope you have a great weekend. Tammy
