Like Peas in a Pod

I’ve always loved this expression.Similar yet different-like my boys, or for that matter a lot of siblings I know.Brought up by the same set of parents, in the same  home-they end of being  so different from one another .

Much like these coasters……same pattern and colour yet all different from one another. This is one of my favourite colour combinations.Do you like these colours together?

coasters make such lovely gifts . Don’t you think?

Do you use coasters on a  regular basis? Would you use handmade coasters that you receive as gifts or do you just like to keep them safe because they look too pretty to use?

  1. Your coasters look very pretty and those colors are lovely! :) I have not made any crochet coasters so far . I was a teetotaller until last year when I started drinking green tea and cold coffee. The other two people in home are not so systematic in using such stuff. Their cup lands wherever they want to keep:) I prefer my table getting marks than pretty crochet coasters ;)

    1. Thanks Preeti, I've seen a lotof people place the cups near the coasters so as not to dirty the coasters. These are so quick to make and wonderful for instant gratification :))

  2. Yep, I like your new header. A real house with a real neighborhood. Nice! Your coasters are lovely and I definitely like the color combo. Last week when I was looking for my Punto cotton so I could crochet kitchen lovelies, I couldn't find very much and went to Barakat to get more but they were all out -- then all of a sudden, I was going through the very same basket yesterday that I had already looked through and I found all that Punto that I wasn't able to find last week when I searched and searched and searched. I'm glad I wasn't able to buy more since I am supposed to be stash busting. :) Have a wonderful weekend. Tammy

  9. So very pretty and truly same but different! I would tend to hoard the pretty handmade coasters and use the assorted souvenir ones we've accumulated through our travels. Although I should trash those and use the nicer ones!
