Just another day

Having lived for two whole years in NZ, I've come to take crazy wild  weather  in my stride and understand that  regardless  of the hail storm and bellowing winds, life goes on amidst flying garbage cans and road signs.
Nothing much was different except unlike other days , children got dropped off and picked up from school today
and a little pile of hailstones  resembling sago greeted us on the doorstep .While I sit on my bed, snug in my fleece pjs, and warm up my frozen feet near the oil heater, I'm immensely grateful for still having power unlike in some parts of the town.
